　　吸聲材料通常對低頻噪聲的吸收能力很低，單靠增加吸聲材料的厚度來提高吸聲效果并不經(jīng)濟，為了改善低頻噪聲的吸聲效果，通常采用共振型消聲器。共振型消聲器的形式是利用管道開孔與共振腔相連接，利用小孔處的空氣柱和空腔內(nèi)的空氣構(gòu)成了彈性共振系統(tǒng)，當(dāng)外界噪聲頻率和此共振系統(tǒng)的固有頻率相同時，小孔中的空氣柱發(fā)生共振并與孔壁發(fā)生劇烈摩擦，摩擦可以消耗聲能，從而達(dá)到消聲的目的。

　　抗性消聲器由管和小室相連而成，該消聲器使利用風(fēng)管截面的突然改變而使聲波向聲源方向反射回去而起到消聲作用。

A resistance muffler is composed of a tube connected to a small chamber, which uses a sudden change in the cross-section of the air duct to reflect sound waves back in the direction of the sound source, thus playing a silencing role.

　　該消聲器對中、低噪聲有較好的消聲效果，結(jié)構(gòu)簡單，由于不使用吸聲材料，因而不受高溫和腐蝕性氣體的影響。低頻噪聲有一定效果。
